Editorial

Online ‘e-Journal of Forensics & Crime Investigation’ is stepping in, in a new era of publication, to promote the knowledge of forensic sciences.  It will be a running online publication. Applications of forensic sciences increasing as the crime rate  and its nature are changing day by day.  Newer and newer crimes are happening around us and hence the ways of crime detection, analysis and interpretation have to be modernized. Complexity of crime necessitates the use of speedy, sophisticated, advanced techniques. This is intended to explore such means and matter through ‘e-Journal of Forensics & Crime Investigation’. It invites research papers, innovative and informative work related to various disciplines of forensic sciences such as, chemical, physical/physics, drugs/ narcotics, toxicology, explosive, petroleum products, ballistics, biology, serology, DNA Fingerprinting, alcohol, BAC, thermal analysis (TA, DTA, DSC), photography, documents, instrumentation (HPTLC, UV-VIS, FT-IR, HPLC, GC, GC-MS, AAS etc.), non-destructive analysis (EDXRF, NAA), finger-print, forensic engineering, computer aided crimes, cyber crime, hi-tech crimes  narco-analysis, lie detection, TASI, post mortem/forensic medicine, crime visits, crime investigation, legal interpretations, comparative analysis and work sensing towards crime and/or forensics. Researchers will find this platform faster to make their research work or views known to others.
